Sustainable Polymer Industrial Designer - Impact & Growth
Rotherham
Gloss Creative Recruitment is assisting a publicly listed technology company in search of an Industrial Designer.
Our client is a publicly listed technology company specialising in the environmental technology sector. They develop and commercialise sustainable polymer-based technologies in Europe, North America, and internationally shedding light on issues that are affecting our planet along with the big ideas it takes to solve them.
They are a collective of innovators who believe in a future where limited resources are no longer limited. So far, their technology has saved millions of litres of water and could prevent billions of microfibres from ending in our oceans.
Launching their textiles technologies is just the beginning of their long-term mission to reduce waste wherever possible. They are at the precipice of adoption, with a clear purpose and vision so require an industrial designer to join their team deploying existing products and developing new technologies.
Your role as an industrial designer will be to bring your creative vision to the design, development, and commercialization of sustainable polymer-based technologies. You will work within a multidisciplinary technical team, bringing your design expertise and skills to help bring the company's ideas to life. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to bring these technologies to market and make a positive impact on the planet.
You are a creative problem-solver with a passion for sustainability. You are confident and brave, and you are not afraid to push boundaries and challenge the status quo. You have a deep understanding of the issues affecting our planet, and you are committed to using design to bring visibility and attention to these important issues.
You work well in a team environment and have the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues and partners. You are flexible and mentally agile, and you bring an entrepreneurial spirit to your work. You are comfortable working on both big-picture concepts and hands-on prototyping.
This company offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a competitive salary, pension, share options, and an annual bonus. They also offer a flexible hybrid work schedule, early finish Fridays, and 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
In addition, the company supports your well-being with private medical insurance, life assurance, and mental well-being support. They encourage personal and professional growth with opportunities for career development and a collaborative company culture. They also support a sustainable lifestyle with a cycle to work scheme and on-site EV charging.
