New Business Consultant – Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contracts

Location: Poulton-le-Fylde – Office Based

Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission

OTE: £50,000-£60,000+

Holiday: 33 days' holiday including bank holidays

Employment: Full-time, permanent

About the Role: Sanderson Facilities LTD is looking for an ambitious New Business Consultant to help grow our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) customer base.

This is an outbound B2B sales role focused on winning new commercial maintenance contracts.

You’ll speak directly with business owners, facilities managers and other decision-makers, identify their maintenance requirements and convert suitable prospects onto one of our monthly PPM packages.

We provide the systems, training and operational support - your job is to prospect, follow up and close new business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Making outbound calls to commercial businesses.
• Speaking with decision-makers and identifying maintenance requirements.
• Qualifying new opportunities.
• Presenting our Silver, Gold and Platinum PPM packages.
• Sending agreements and following up proposals.
• Closing new PPM contracts.
• Managing your sales pipeline using BigChange.
• Recording future opportunities and follow-up dates.
• Ensuring new customers complete their agreement and Direct Debit setup.

What You'll Be Selling

Our PPM contracts provide businesses with planned servicing, compliance support and preferential reactive maintenance rates.

Packages currently start from:

• Silver - £149.50/month
• Gold - £199.50/month
• Platinum - £249.50/month

Salary & Commission

• You’ll receive: £30,000 basic salary.
• Plus: Uncapped Commission.

Typical commission

• Silver sale - £149.50
• Gold sale - £199.50
• Platinum sale - £249.50

Your Targets - We are looking for someone who can consistently build towards:

• 10 new PPM customers per month – Target
• 12 per month – Strong performance
• 15+ per month – Excellent performance

We will also monitor

• Outbound sales activity.
• Qualified opportunities.
• Proposals sent.
• Follow-up activity.
• Conversion rate.
• Pipeline value and quality.

What We're Looking For - You should be

• Confident making outbound B2B sales calls.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
• Target-driven and motivated by commission.
• Organised with strong follow-up skills.
• Comfortable handling objections and asking for the sale.
• Able to manage your own sales pipeline.
• Positive, persistent and commercially minded.

Previous B2B sales experience is preferred.

Experience within facilities management, maintenance contracts or commercial services would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
