We're looking for a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across our UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa region — someone who can grow existing accounts, win new business, and help shape how we respond to a changing energy market.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll own our sales targets across the region — managing and growing revenue through existing accounts, converting new prospects into customers, and building campaigns that respond to shifting market conditions. You'll also guide project proposals from concept through approval, and be the person leadership counts on for accurate forecasting.

We're looking for someone with deep sales experience and real technical credibility in offshore oil, gas and wind — someone who combines sharp analytical thinking with genuine relationship-building skill, and who brings a professional, can-do, goal-oriented energy to everything they do.

What You'll Do

• Hit bookings targets and other agreed KPIs
• Build and execute a sales strategy aligned with company priorities — including training the wider team to sell Deepwater's offering effectively
• Coordinate proposals and sales activity with a focus on winning bids, working closely with Engineering and Projects on solutions under development
• Keep the business informed — weekly activity reporting, full activity logging in Salesforce, timely expense reports, and proposals that go beyond what customers expect
• Prepare and maintain sales forecasts for monthly financial and executive management reporting
• Represent Deepwater at exhibitions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East
• Interview, hire, and train new members of the sales team

Who You'll Work With

You’ll report to the General Manager and partner closely with Operations to develop and land winning proposals, and with customers directly to provide technical sales support and service.

What We're Looking For

• A degree and 5+ years of outside sales experience in offshore oil, gas or wind (or 10+ years of relevant technical sales experience in our industry without a degree)
• Proven management experience
• A track record of hitting sales goals, with the ability to show how you’ve planned and executed a sales strategy
• Technical grounding in corrosion control or cathodic protection is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus
