Clark Wood are working with a forward-thinking accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Tax Manager to join their established tax team in Stoke On Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with Partners and advising a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
The Role
Managing a portfolio of complex tax clients.
Providing tax planning and advisory support to business owners.
Advising on acquisitions, disposals, IHT and estate planning.
Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations.
Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
Acting as a technical resource for the wider network.
About You
CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with ideally 5+ years' post-qualified experience in practice.
Strong experience advising OMBs across corporation tax, income tax and CGT.
VAT experience desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Proactive, commercially minded and ambitious.
Confident working collaboratively within a progressive team.
