Universal Quantum in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Experimental Quantum Physicist to lead ion-trap quantum computing projects from concept through to successful execution.
You will design, build, calibrate and optimize complex experiments, apply AMO theory to laser cooling, trapping, state preparation, and quantum control, and mentor junior scientists while coordinating with physics and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable quantum hardware.
