Overview

Library Customer Advisor – Worcestershire Libraries, Bromsgrove Cluster (Rubery-based with travel to Hagley, Bromsgrove, Droitwich or Catshill as required).

The Role

The role is diverse and customer focused. You will help customers access a wide range of resources and services, provide digital one-to-one support, and lead events and activities such as songs or storytelling sessions for children or online activity groups for adults. You will learn something new every day in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays.

Salary: £17,286 to £17,560 per annum

Hours: 25 hours per week

Location: Rubery Library (with travel to other cluster libraries as required)

Team: Bromsgrove Cluster

Contract: Permanent

Enthusiastic, energetic and flexible with excellent customer service skills
Will to find answers to questions and help customers
Background in retail, community, education, early years or library work is welcome
Strong focus on understanding and serving the customer
