Business Development Manager – Home/Field‑based – East London

Responsibilities

• Scope out, hunt, and seal deals with fresh, independent new business opportunities, keeping the pipeline flowing.
• Cultivate strong connections with independent players in the local food market.
• Craft bespoke culinary propositions that help customers save time and money.
• Drive growth and hit profit targets, earning rewards accordingly.
• Welcome new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience with the Area Sales Manager buddy.
• Monitor competition and independent market trends, offering the most relevant solutions and insights.
• Achieve market goals and drive success across the region.

Qualifications

• Commercial mindset and strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
• Confidence and willingness to work field‑based, interacting directly with customers.
• Background in field sales, food service, hospitality or related areas is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic sales pipeline.
• A passion for food, an innovative, customer‑focused approach, and a willingness to learn.
