We are seeking an experienced HV Substation Project Manager with strong technical expertise in HV environments, NEC4 contracts, subcontractor management, programme delivery, and commercial control.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of a two-stage HV substation project
Manage programme, milestones, interfaces, and project deliverables
Administer NEC4 contracts including compensation events and change control
Oversee cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage subcontractors, construction activities, and commissioning coordination
Lead risk mitigation and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with HV safety rules, CDM regulations, and HSE standards
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and design interfaces
Strong programme management and commercial reporting skills
Experience working with transmission-connected clients
Strong focus on Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance
Heavy Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering background
