Weare recruiting for an experienced Underwriter that has strong Property and Casualty background and underwriting experience to join an expanding team.
You will have the option to work on a combination of new business, renewals, or both, depending on where your experience lies.
What Qualifications are required?
Dip CII Qualification or working towards ACII qualification
Exposure to the UK General Insurance market is essential, including existing trading relationships specifically across the Leeds markets
Pragmatic and confident decision maker with good numerical reasoning skills
Strong analytical skills with proven experience of account monitoring and action planningTechnical underwriting expertise in a composite insurance environment (non-package)
Sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements for insurance (including treating customers fairly)
