KERB Events Limited provides our services at many live events, including at venues such as The KIA Oval, Goodwood Motor Circuit, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham city football club, Leicester Tigers and Jockey Club Racing venues.
Reporting to the Venue operations coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the operational needs and successful running of a range of events across a variety of venues in the West Midlands on a freelance basis. This role is well-suited to someone who is hungry to get involved with KERB, with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, understanding Health & Safety principles, and previous experience of operating & managing large scale events with multiple stakeholders, week-in-week-out.
We need talented, enthusiastic team players to deliver excellent experiences for our customers, traders and the client. The role encompasses ensuring the day-to-day operation runs smoothly, working with the Venue operations coordinator to ensure all health and safety practices are implemented fully. Stakeholder management, quality control (this includes eating!) and customer engagement all feature prominently.
A grasp of the street food world and previous experience working on a stall is a big plus. We need a can-do character with the ambition and expertise to push our Midlands based events to a new level.
This list is in no way exhaustive and the incumbent may be asked to perform other tasks to help out the KERB team (within reason!), including some unsociable hours and weekends.
As part of our values, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity at KERB. We actively celebrate our teams’ different abilities, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone, from any background, is welcome and supported in their development at all stages in their journey with us. Applicants are encouraged to share with our People Team any accommodations or reasonable adjustments required during the recruitment process.
