We are looking for an experienced FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Project Manager to join our growing team in Manchester. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role - you'll be involved from pre-construction right through to final delivery on site, working closely with the pre-construction team to build out labour costs, develop the programme, and then deliver the project with the support of a site manager and wider site team.
Work closely with the pre-construction team to review tender documents, drawings and specifications.
Build out labour costs for each project, including sub-contractor packages and direct labour requirements.
Develop the project programme, sequencing FF&E installation alongside the wider construction programme.
Input into value engineering and buildability reviews.
Liaise with clients, designers and main contractors during the pre-start phase.
Take ownership of the project from mobilisation through to handover and snagging completion.
Manage sub-contractor performance, attendance and quality of work.
Chair site meetings, manage RFIs and ensure the programme is maintained.
Conduct quality inspections and sign off completed works.
Manage snagging and final handover to client.
Track labour and material spend against budget.
Manage the programme, identifying and mitigating delays.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and client updates.
Work with the QS / commercial team on variations and final accounts.
Proven experience as a Project Manager within FF&E, fit-out, or interiors projects.
Solid knowledge of FF&E installation, sequencing and quality standards.
Confident managing sub-contractors, suppliers and client stakeholders.
IT literate - comfortable with MS Project, Excel and project management software.
SMSTS (or equivalent) and CSCS card (Black or Gold) preferred.
First Aid at Work and asbestos awareness desirable.
Full UK driving licence.
Hands-on, practical and delivery-focused.
Comfortable operating between the office and site environments.
Strong communicator with clients, site teams and sub-contractors.
Calm under pressure and capable of managing multiple work fronts.
Commercially aware and detail-driven on cost and programme.
Permanent, full-time role.
Office-based in Manchester with site visits as required.
Opportunity to work on a varied pipeline of fit-out and FF&E projects.
Career progression within a growing business
