Business Development Executive

We’re hiring a Business Development Executive to join our London team.

We’re a market-leading recruitment company in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction space, working with clients across the USA. After a strong 2025, we’re growing again – currently 24 people in London, aiming to reach 40 over the next three years. This role is ideal for someone with early sales experience who wants more ownership, better earning potential, and exposure to building long-term client relationships.

Our three directors started the business as friends after meeting at college, and that still shapes our culture today: supportive, social, and team-first, while remaining ambitious and performance-driven.

What makes us different

• A sales-focused recruitment role with real responsibility from day one
• Uncapped commission with strong earning potential (US market = larger fees)
• The freedom to develop your own style of business development
• Smart, automated systems that reduce admin and maximise time selling
• Clear progression into senior commercial and leadership roles
• A genuine voice in how our commercial team evolves as we scale

What you’ll get

• Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
• Early finish Fridays + hybrid working
• High level of trust and flexibility in how you manage your pipeline
• Regular socials, incentives & yearly trip abroad
• 22 days holiday + Christmas shutdown
• WeWork Devonshire Square office (free coffee, free beer, regular events)

The role

• Support and grow relationships with AEC clients in the US market
• Identify new business opportunities and build your own client base
• Take ownership of commercial conversations and negotiations
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure strong outcomes
• Develop into a trusted point of contact for your clients
• 6–24 months’ experience in B2B sales or recruitment
• Confident communicators who enjoy building relationships
• Commercially minded, proactive, and target-driven
• Comfortable using CRM systems and modern sales tools
• Organised, resilient, and keen to progress quickly
• A team player who wants to grow with the business

If you’re early in your sales career and want a role with proper earning potential, real responsibility, and a clear path to progression, we’d love to hear from you.
