We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Senior to manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance services while supporting advisory work across a broad range of tax matters.

You will support clients in navigating complex tax matters, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding client service. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to broaden their experience across both personal and corporate tax within a supportive and collaborative team.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, confident client handling skills, and the ability to review work, support junior team members and contribute to the wider success of the tax team.

Responsibilities

Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self‑assessment tax returns, including group structures.
Providing advice across a range of corporate and personal tax matters.
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing tax support.
Liaising with HMRC to resolve client queries and handle communications.
Reviewing the work of junior team members and supporting their training and development.
Assisting with planning workloads and ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
Keeping up to date with legislation and sharing knowledge within the team.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax.
Experience preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns within an accountancy practice.
A proactive and professional approach, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and maintain a high standard of client service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in various accounting software’s and MS Office.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
