We’re looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Team Leader to join a well-established and growing recruitment business in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to lead, develop and grow a team while remaining hands-on with your own clients and business development.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of Recruitment Consultants.
Set individual and team objectives, monitoring performance against KPIs and revenue targets.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Support consultants with client meetings, negotiations and candidate management.
Drive new business development and expand existing client relationships.
Manage your own recruitment desk, generating consistent billings.
Recruit, onboard and train new consultants as the team grows.
Ensure best practice recruitment processes and compliance are maintained.
Foster a positive, high-performance and collaborative team culture.
Report on team performance and contribute to business strategy.
About You
You'll ideally have: Previous experience as a Recruitment Team Leader, Managing Consultant, Principal Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant.
A proven track record of billing and winning new business.
Experience managing, mentoring or developing recruitment consultants.
Strong leadership, coaching and motivational skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset.
The ability to lead by example in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
