We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract delivery and management for a mechanical contractor based in West London.
In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical delivery contracts, managing relationships with public and private sector clients whilst leading and developing teams of engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring contracts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your strategic oversight will encompass financial performance, resource allocation, risk management, and team leadership, with a focus on building long‑term client partnerships and driving operational excellence across multiple concurrent projects.
We are looking for candidates who bring substantial experience in contract management within the mechanical engineering or mechanical contracting sector. You will have a proven track record of successfully managing contract delivery for public sector clients, demonstrating commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Your background should include hands‑on experience managing P&L and budgets for mechanical delivery contracts, with evidence of cost control and financial discipline. You are a natural leader who has successfully managed and developed teams of engineers, and you combine technical understanding with strong business management capabilities. Above all, you are someone who thrives in a results‑driven environment, balances commercial objectives with operational delivery, and brings integrity and professionalism to every client interaction.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the commercial and operational success of mechanical delivery contracts whilst leading and developing a talented engineering team. Success in this position will be measured by on‑time and on‑budget contract delivery, strong client satisfaction, team engagement, and consistent financial performance.
