Sales Executive

Our client, a global leader in financial software and managed services, is seeking a Sales Executive to join their dynamic London-based team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and has a passion for sales and relationship management within the financial services sector.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive , you’ll play a crucial role in expanding business across Europe , with a focus on both managing existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities . Working closely with the Senior Sales Executive, you’ll drive revenue growth by identifying prospects, mapping their needs, and providing tailored fintech solutions that streamline middle and back‑office operations.

This role offers a unique chance to work with cutting‑edge technology trusted by the world’s leading banks, asset managers, brokers, and payment processors, helping them meet complex post‑trade and finance operations challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Europe.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to generate pipeline and supporting marketing activity.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demos (in collaboration with pre‑sales).
• Understand customer needs and propose appropriate software solutions.
• Build, manage, and accurately forecast your sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, pre‑sales) to deliver tailored solutions.
• Attend industry events, tradeshows, and conferences to represent the business professionally.
• Maintain sales activity and records in CRM (Salesforce knowledge is a plus).
• Support RFI and RFP processes with help from the technical team.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in selling solutions & services to the Financial Services sector in Europe – payments, treasury, finance, risk control, regulatory compliance functions, post‑trade back‑office and middle office operations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, including quarterly and yearly achievements.
• Proven track record of selling to new name clients/prospects.
• Experience in selling to Financial Services Institutions (with experience in C‑level or senior management engagement/contacts).
• Ability to grasp complex fintech solutions and articulate value to clients.
• Coordination and collaboration required with clients and colleagues located globally.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technology is preferred.
