Employment Solicitor

Overview

Leading West Midlands firm seeks a senior employment solicitor to join their expanding Brierley Hill team.

Responsibilities

Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims
Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues
Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings. You will need to have experience issuing employment tribunal claims and dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation
Support individuals and businesses
Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side

About you

Qualified Solicitor and be able to work unsupervised
Proven track record handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Excellent communication and client care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong negotiation and drafting skills
