The Role

Full Time or Part time; Hybrid: In office with flex; Location: Southampton; Salary: £21k–£25k depending on experience

Carswell Gould is looking for a Junior Content, Copy & Social Automation Executive to join our growing team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone starting their career in marketing, content and communications who wants real hands-on experience across campaigns, retained clients, social media, content strategy, automation and performance marketing.

You’ll work across a wide range of brands, sectors and projects helping create content, manage campaigns, support social channels and build marketing activity that delivers measurable impact.

This role would suit someone who:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing content for social media, websites, campaigns and email
• Supporting retained marketing programmes and campaigns
• Helping build and manage content calendars
• Assisting with social media planning, posting and reporting
• Supporting CRM and marketing automation activity
• Researching audiences, trends and campaign opportunities
• Supporting campaign rollout across multiple channels
• Helping track results, engagement and performance
• Interviewing clients and team members to gather information and shape content
• Supporting video, podcast and content production where needed
• Working with Producers, Directors and Specialists across the business

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Interest in social media, marketing and content
• Understanding of how content supports growth and engagement
• Interest in analytics, reporting and performance
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable learning new software and tools
• Curious about AI, automation and modern marketing systems
