I am working with a leading food manufacturer in Bedfordshire, supporting them with the recruitment of a hands‑on Production Manager to lead their day‑to‑day manufacturing operations and help drive a safe, efficient, and high‑performing production environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and maintaining high standards within a busy food production site.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and supporting the production team, ensuring everyone works safely and effectively.
Monitoring output and efficiency, identifying improvements, and driving continuous change.
Maintaining strong hygiene, quality, and food safety standards.
Supporting audits, reducing waste, and helping the site hit key performance targets.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.
Experience working with BRC.
Holds HACCP level 3, food safety level 3 and IOSH.
A confident people manager who can motivate and develop a team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
Safety‑focused, proactive, and comfortable working on the production floor.
Able to lead projects and build strong working relationships.
Willingness to travel to customers when required.
