Responsibilities

Leonard Brothers Vets have an exciting new opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vet looking to join a supportive practice, working in whatever way they feel comfortable. We are happy to accommodate a consult-only role if this is your preference and you will have access to the expertise of experienced clinicians and advanced practitioners. We offer an excellent balance between consults and ops, with every vet having the opportunity to do both consults and surgeries in every shift worked. We offer 15-minute consults and insert catch-up slots in between to allow vets to catch-up if a consult runs over, to write notes, make phone calls, or to discuss cases with other vets.

Working patterns

We are happy to offer flexible working options working between 20-36 hours per week. Out-of-hours shifts are very limited in the evenings between 6:30 pm – 9 pm and at weekends 8:30 am – 5 pm. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. Whether you need to do the school pick up, need reduced hours during school holidays or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern we can fix or flex our patterns to suit you.
