Senior Project Manager – Front Office Trading Technology
Overview
An opportunity to join the Client Services team of a leading provider of web-based trading technology, delivering mission‑critical front‑office solutions to global financial institutions.
This is a senior, client‑facing role with responsibility for leading complex software delivery programmes across capital markets clients.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Lead complex front‑office technology programmes from discovery through to deployment
Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple development teams
Own scope, timelines, budgets, forecasting and delivery milestones
Act as primary point of contact for Tier 1 financial services clients
Identify opportunities for additional work and support sales/procurement cycles where required
Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders (e.g. Heads of Desk, Traders, CTOs)
Maintain project plans, RAID logs, budgets and delivery reporting
Ensure adherence to governance, security and regulatory standards
Lead PMO best practices, standardisation and information security alignment
Control scope and budget changes effectively
Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks
Line‑manage Project Managers, including resource planning and performance management
Mentor and develop PMs, supporting career progression and delivery excellence
5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects within capital markets, asset management, or hedge funds
