Senior Project Manager (24 month FTC)

Join to apply for the Senior Project Manager (24 month FTC) role at Highland Spring Ltd

At Highland Spring Group, we’re proud to be the UK’s leading natural source water brand. From our pristine source in the Ochil Hills to our pioneering approach to packaging and sustainability, we’re committed to doing things the right way—for our people, our customers, and our planet.

We’re looking for a strategic and hands‑on Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of the UK Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) across our business. This is a unique opportunity to drive a transformative project that supports our commitment to environmental responsibility and a circular economy.

Your Role: Leading Change with Purpose

As the Senior Project Manager for the implementation of our DRS project, you will play a pivotal role in steering the end‑to‑end delivery across the Highland Spring Group. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy & Planning, you’ll oversee coordination of cross‑functional workstreams—spanning packaging, operational readiness, finance, and commercial optimisation—to ensure seamless integration and progress at every stage.

You’ll be the glue that brings it all together, establishing and maintaining robust governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks, and fostering effective communication across stream leads. Regular updates to the Steering Group and Senior Management Team will keep everyone informed, engaged, and aligned.

You’ll also support the wider Projects team by leading the delivery of smaller product development projects, ensuring they’re delivered to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of the UK DRS project across the business
• Coordinating cross‑functional workstreams and ensuring seamless integration
• Establishing robust governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, including the UK DMO
• Providing hands‑on support to overcome delivery challenges and drive results
• Managing smaller product development projects alongside the core DRS programme

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑workstream projects—ideally in FMCG
• A formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is highly desirable
• Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A pragmatic, hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced, evolving environments
• A strategic thinker who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves

Why Highland Spring?

We’re a team that supports each other, celebrates success, and shares a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence. Our values—We are a team. We are proud. We care —guide everything we do.

Join us and lead a project that matters. Help us deliver a more sustainable future for our industry and our planet.
