Research Associate – Executive Search

Purpose-Driven Leadership | Global Impact | Career Accelerator

Are you curious about leadership, motivated by impact, and excited by working at the intersection of talent, ideas, and purpose?

We’re seeking a Research Associate to join a leading international executive search firm that partners with organisations shaping a better future. From education and research to culture, sustainability, health, and the social economy, their work helps mission-led organisations find the leaders they need to thrive.

This is not a back‑office role. You’ll be a core part of search teams, trusted for your insight, judgement, and intellectual curiosity.

Why This Role Is Different

• Work with purpose-driven sectors – universities, foundations, NGOs, cultural institutions, and values-led organisations
• 🧠 Intellectually stretching work – mapping complex leadership markets, understanding influence, reputation, and impact
• 🚀 Fast learning curve – exposure to senior leaders, boards, and global organisations early in your career
• 🤝 True collaboration – work closely with consultants, fellow researchers, and knowledge specialists
• Clear progression – a proven pathway into senior research or consulting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Researching and mapping senior leadership talent across global markets
• Analysing organisations, sectors, and leadership trends
• Identifying and engaging high‑calibre candidates with sensitivity and professionalism
• Contributing insight that shapes search strategy and client advice
• Building deep knowledge of purpose-driven ecosystems and institutions

Who We’re Looking For

You might come from research, higher education, policy, professional services, or another analytical environment. What matters most is that you:

• Have a genuine interest in purpose-driven and mission-led organisations
• Are intellectually curious and enjoy deep research
• Communicate clearly and confidently, in writing and conversation
• Are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, international environment
• Prior experience in the recruitment would be advantageous but not essential and experience can be reflected in role and package.

What You’ll Gain

• A front-row seat to how leadership shapes organisations and society
• Training, mentoring, and exposure that accelerate your career
• A values-led culture that takes its work seriously, but not itself
• The chance to do work that genuinely matters

If you’re ambitious, thoughtful, and motivated by impact, this is a rare opportunity to build a career in executive search with purpose at its core.
