Direct, organise and motivate a high performing team across inspection, faulting, maintenance and renewal. Deliver work efficiently, maintain safety, ensure assets compliant and compile vital reports.
Responsibilities
Organise and control safe and efficient delivery of work.
Establish appropriate safety arrangements and follow safe systems of work.
Control and check quality of work and competence of people.
Keep assets fully compliant, vehicles, plant, tools, equipment and materials fit for purpose.
Compile a range of vital reports.
Drive vehicles as required, including up to 7.5t if necessary.
Qualifications
Experience organising and controlling safe and efficient delivery of work.
Excellent communication skills, in person and in writing.
Knowledge of discipline‑specific maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques.
Knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and instructions.
A clear and inspirational leader with a strong sense of direction.
Hold Safety Critical Competencies COSS CRP and PC.
Hold Tr04 and Tr11 competence.
Hold or be working towards NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
Hold Safety Critical Competencies Strapping, NSCD (Ops) and Engineering Supervisor.
