Head of Group Finance
City, Belfast
Are you an accomplished finance leader looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role within a dynamic, growth-focused organisation?
For more than 160 years, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club has been at the heart of the game in the county and one of the most successful clubs in world cricket. Headingley Cricket Ground has provided the stage for some of the sport’s most unforgettable moments.
Building on that history, the Club is now entering an exciting new era, embarking on a bold ten-year strategy to shape the future of the game and deliver lasting impact across Yorkshire for generations to come.
We are looking for a Head of Finance to play a pivotal leadership role within Yorkshire Cricket. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function while also acting as a visible and collaborative leader across the Club.
This role goes beyond delivering excellent financial reporting. We are looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and a strong partnership mindset. You will enjoy working across teams, building relationships and helping colleagues use financial insight to make better decisions.
You will be technically excellent, but equally comfortable stepping outside the traditional boundaries of finance to support the wider organisation. As a leader across the Club, you will help connect people, influence thinking and contribute to a culture of collaboration, transparency and shared success.
We are looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with energy, curiosity and a highly collaborative approach.
You will enjoy working with people across the organisation, building strong relationships and influencing decisions through insight and partnership. You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and are comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels of the Club.
In addition, you possess the following key skills and experience:
At Yorkshire Cricket we are committed to creating an environment built on respect, inclusion and integrity. Our values guide how we work together and how we represent the Club:
We expect all colleagues to champion equality, diversity and inclusion and contribute to a culture where everyone feels valued, heard and supported.
Safeguarding the welfare of children and adults is fundamental to our work, and all colleagues share responsibility for maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
