Mechanical Fabricator

FFW Site Services are looking for experienced Mechanical Fabricators to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business based in Haverhill.

The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating and assembling mechanical components and structures to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structural assemblies.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and other engineering materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting and welding as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Work alongside engineering and production teams.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mechanical fabrication or engineering.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience working with metal fabrication equipment.
• Welding experience would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
