Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Year 6 | Barking, East London

Remedy Education is looking for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Barking, East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong classroom experience and excellent English subject knowledge to support Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATs and transition to secondary school.

The Role

• Location: Barking, East London
• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Year Group: Year 6
• Pay: 120-140 per day
• Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
• Focus: Year 6 classroom support and English

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar teaching support role.
• Strong English subject knowledge, particularly at upper primary level.
• Confident leading lessons, delivering interventions and supporting whole-class learning.
• Able to motivate pupils and support preparation for SATs.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
