Groundworks Working Foreman Required

Location: Peterborough
Rate: £250 per day
Job Type: Ongoing

Frontline Construction Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Working Foreman to join a busy construction project in (Location).

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Groundworks Foreman with strong site experience who can lead a team of operatives while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day groundworks activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating groundworkers on site
• Carrying out hands-on groundworks duties when required
• Organising daily workloads and allocating tasks to operatives
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard
• Reading and working from construction drawings and specifications
• Overseeing drainage, foundations, ducting, kerbing, concreting and associated groundworks
• Monitoring progress and helping keep works on programme
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and other trades
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Working Foreman
• Valid SMSTS certificate
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong practical knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering operations
• Experience supervising and leading groundworks teams
• Good understanding of construction health and safety
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Reliable, organised and confident communicating with site management
• Right to work in the UK
