Welder Fabricator

Our client is a well-established and growing steel fabrication business with over 25 years of industry experience, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range of steel products including handrails, railings, ramps and bespoke fabrications.

Due to continued growth and a healthy workload, they are seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate structural and architectural steelwork from engineering drawings.
• Mark out, measure and prepare materials accurately.
• MIG weld mild steel components to a high standard.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings independently.
• Assemble fabricated parts and complete quality checks.
• Operate general fabrication machinery and workshop equipment safely.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder / Fabricator.
• Ability to read, understand and work directly from engineering drawings.
• Experienced in marking out and fabricating components from scratch.
• Competent MIG welding mild steel.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
