On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a HSE Coordinator for a 12 months contract based in Inchinnan . Please note that the HSE Coordinator role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern .

Responsibilities:

• As an HSE Coordinator you will ensure contractors are signed in, correctly inducted and authorised to access the site.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety procedures.
• Complete regular safety walk-rounds, representing approximately 75% of the role.
• Review risk assessments and method statements.
• Control and monitor work permits.
• Address unsafe practices and escalate safety concerns when required.
• Maintain accurate induction, access and contractor compliance records.

Requirements:

• Experience overseeing contractors in a manufacturing, engineering, factory or industrial environment.
• Experience reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Knowledge of contractor induction, access-control and permit-to-work processes.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
• Experience completing site inspections or safety walk-rounds.
