We're looking for an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail to join our lovely calient and support a busy payroll and HR team.

The role involves checking the weekly hours worked by approximately 300+ operatives and accurately recording these under the correct categories, ready for payroll processing. You'll need to be comfortable working through large volumes of information, spotting discrepancies and keeping accurate records.

Data Entry & HR Administrator - What you'll be doing:

• Checking clocking-in and clocking-out records to confirm hours worked.
• Entering hours into the correct columns for standard time, weekday overtime, Saturday overtime and Sunday overtime.
• Checking sickness, absences and other information that may affect pay.
• Preparing accurate weekly information for the payroll team.
• Checking timesheets against payslips once payroll has been processed and flagging any differences.
• Preparing induction documents, adding new starters to the system and updating employee details on Sage.
• Supporting the team with general HR administration.

You'll rotate between preparing the weekly hours and checking the completed payroll, becoming familiar with both parts of the process.

Data Entry & HR Administrator - What we're looking for:

• Experience in administration or data entry with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and word skills
• Confidence entering and checking large amounts of numerical information.
• Good organisation and the ability to meet weekly deadlines.
• A discreet approach to confidential employee information.
• Previous time and attendance, HR or payroll administration experience would be useful, but you do not need experience running payroll.
