Project Manager

Project Manager - Commercial Fit Out
London | Salary Negotiable DOE + Package

Love the pace of commercial fit-out? Enjoy taking ownership of your projects and seeing them through from start to finish?

I'm working with an established London fit-out contractor looking to bring an experienced Project Manager into its growing delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, forward-thinking business delivering a varied portfolio of Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects, from smaller, fast-track schemes through to larger, more complex refurbishments.

The business has a strong pipeline of work and is looking for someone who knows fit-out inside out, enjoys the challenge of juggling programmes and trades, and takes real pride in delivering a quality job.

The Opportunity
You'll be taking ownership of commercial fit-out projects, typically valued up to £5m, with exposure to larger schemes depending on your experience. This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction and mobilisation through to practical completion and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects from start to finish.
• Taking ownership of programmes, budgets, quality, health & safety and overall project delivery.
• Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and internal delivery teams.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the project.
• Working closely with design, commercial and pre-construction teams to ensure a smooth transition into delivery.
• Identifying potential issues early and keeping projects on programme.
• Overseeing snagging, commissioning and successful handover.

About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have a solid background in commercial office fit-out, ideally with a design & build contractor.

You'll ideally bring:

• Proven experience delivering Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects.
• A strong understanding of fast-track fit-out programmes and the challenges that come with them.
• Experience managing projects independently, ideally up to £2m or above.
• The ability to manage clients, subcontractors and project teams confidently.
• Good technical knowledge, commercial awareness and strong organisational skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership.
• A personable, down-to-earth attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships.

We're open-minded on backgrounds and career paths. What matters most is your fit-out experience, ability to deliver and the attitude you bring to the team.

Why Consider It?

• A varied pipeline of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• The opportunity to take ownership of your own schemes.
• Exposure to both smaller fast-track projects and larger, more technically challenging fit-outs.
• A collaborative environment working alongside experienced construction professionals.
• The opportunity to join an established business continuing to strengthen its delivery team.
• Competitive salary and package, depending on experience.

Interested?
If you're an experienced fit-out Project Manager who enjoys being hands-on, working at pace and delivering great projects, I'd love to hear from you.

Equally, if you're currently with a larger contractor and fancy a move where you can take more ownership and have a greater impact, this could be well worth exploring.
