Production Operative - Day Shift

Location: Birkhill
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5am-5pm
Pay: 12.94 per hour, with overtime paid at 16.82 per hour

Are you hands-on, reliable and looking for an opportunity within a busy production environment? We're looking for a Pulling and Hand Tipping Operative to join the manufacturing team at Lesmahagow, supporting the production of feed and mineral buckets and blocks.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in the production process, handling raw materials, operating equipment and ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pulling, handling and tipping raw materials
• Pouring and weighing raw materials accurately
• Working to production specifications and schedules
• Operating a forklift to move materials as required
• Monitoring raw material levels and ensuring sufficient supplies are available for production
• Carrying out cleaning and general maintenance duties to maintain a safe, tidy working environment
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Supporting other areas of the mill when required and working closely with colleagues to keep production running smoothly
