A respected, award-winning multi-disciplinary construction and design consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its expanding Preston team. The practice is well regarded for delivering high-quality projects nationwide, with a portfolio spanning healthcare, education, commercial, residential, sports and leisure, and heritage.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Creating technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Preparing detailed construction information
• Taking designs forward through every project stage
• Producing planning and Building Regulations submissions
• Liaising with clients and project consultants
• Assisting with BIM coordination and project delivery
• Participating in meetings and site visits
• Solving technical and construction challenges

The ideal Architectural Technologist will have:

• A background as an Architectural Technician or Technologist
• Relevant experience within the UK construction industry
• A qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
• Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills
• Experience working in a BIM environment
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• CIAT accreditation, or a willingness to work towards it
