Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 | Tonbridge

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Starting 2nd November

We are seeking a compassionate, patient and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil at a prestigious prep school in Tonbridge.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with an EHCP.
• Supporting the child's learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Working closely with the SENCO, teaching staff and parents to ensure consistent, effective support.
• Adapting approaches to meet the child's individual needs and promote confidence, independence and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has a good understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and a calm, nurturing approach.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Is proactive, reliable and committed to making a positive difference.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:15pm
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Start Date: 2nd November
Location: Tonbridge
