Working Pattern: 4 Days Per Week on site - 1 Day Working From Home
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant to join a friendly and growing finance team based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with the Accounts Payable function, including statement reconciliations and supplier queries
• Supporting Credit Control activities, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Allocating cash receipts and updating customer accounts
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Assisting with month-end finance processes
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment
• Practical experience of both Accounts Payable and Credit Control
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and suppliers
• Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
