Storage Consultant - Isilon

Location: London
Day rate: 400 - 500 Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer / Storage Consultant with strong hands-on experience across Dell EMC Isilon, SAN/NAS storage environments and enterprise storage technologies.

This is a technical, hands-on role supporting and maintaining complex storage infrastructure, working closely with infrastructure teams to ensure performance, availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, manage and maintain enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Dell EMC Isilon / PowerScale storage platforms.
• Support Dell EMC storage solutions, including VMAX, VNX and related technologies.
• Manage storage capacity, performance, replication and availability.
• Support enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including Cohesity and Commvault.
• Assist with storage upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and provide technical support.
• Work alongside infrastructure, networking and architecture teams.

Essential Skills

• Dell EMC Isilon / PowerScale - strong hands-on experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of SAN and NAS storage technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise storage infrastructure.
• Good understanding of storage networking, protocols and performance management.
• Experience troubleshooting complex storage environments.

Desirable Experience

• Cohesity NAS and backup solutions.
• Commvault backup and recovery.
• Pure Storage FlashArray / FlashBlade.
• Dell EMC VMAX, VNX, VPLEX and SRDF.
• Cisco SAN switches / DCNM.
• VMware vSphere / vCenter.
• Windows Server and Linux (RHEL).
• Storage migrations, replication and disaster recovery.
