Warehouse operative

Warehouse Operative AM2PM are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client in the OL2 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a safe and organised working environment. Job Details:

• Shifts: 4 on 4 off. 13:30pm to 01:00am
• Pay rate: £13.45 per hour between 13:30pm -22:00pm, £16.90 per hour between 22:00pm - 01:00am

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling duties throughout the working day.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Moving stock around the warehouse using manual handling techniques or warehouse equipment where authorised.
• Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets.
