Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver (Bulk Tipper) in the Selby area of North Yorkshire, with an immediate start available, offering hourly rates from 16.00 to 17.00 per hour, depending on shift pattern and experience, plus the opportunity for additional hours at weekends.

This is a varied driving role for a professional driver who is confident in handling bulk tipper work and enjoys early starts, steady Monday-to-Friday work, and occasional weekend shifts.

The work includes shunting, farm collections and deliveries, and transporting wheat, grains, and feeds using all-electric HGVs.

You will be responsible for completing daily bulk tipper runs safely and efficiently, supporting agricultural deliveries and collections across the local and wider rural network.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday operations, with some weekend work available
• Work to start between 05:00 and 08:00 or a fixed shift from 08:00 to 20:00

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• No more than 6 points on licence preferred, subject to client requirements
