Our client is seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to oversee road and highways projects across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, including Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
The Role
Supervise highways and new roads projects from mobilisation through to completion.
Coordinate site teams and suppliers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
Monitor progress, quality and productivity against project requirements and programmes.
Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions where required.
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including relevant highways and construction standards.
Identify and resolve site issues promptly, escalating matters when necessary.
Maintain accurate site records, inspections and progress reports.
About You
Previous supervisory experience on highways, new roads or related civil engineering projects.
Demonstrable experience working on new roads schemes.
Valid SSSTS certification.
First Aid certification.
Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
Effective communication and team leadership skills.
Willingness to travel across the Milton Keynes area and locations within approximately 40 miles.

Based in Milton Keynes, with projects across Oxford, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
Permanent position.
Salary of 50,000 to 60,000, depending on experience.
