Salary - 40,000 - 50,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission
Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with experience in insurance who enjoys winning new business, building lasting client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

You'll play a key role in developing new business opportunities, converting prospects into clients and growing an existing book of business. With a competitive basic salary, uncapped commission and opportunities for career progression, this role offers the chance to make a real impact within a customer-focused insurance brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and inbound enquiries.
• Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their insurance requirements and commercial needs.
• Conduct client fact-finds and risk assessments to identify suitable cover.
• Prepare and present tailored insurance quotations and recommendations.
• Liaise and negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and premiums.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales, income and client acquisition targets.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products where appropriate.
• Manage policy renewals and support the development and retention of an existing client book.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation using Acturis or similar CRM systems.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and relevant industry standards.

About You

We're keen to speak with commercially minded sales professionals who have a background in insurance and a genuine appetite for winning new business.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience within an insurance brokerage, insurer or insurance sales environment.
• A proven track record of generating and converting sales opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-focused approach, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Experience using Acturis or a similar insurance broking or CRM system.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• An understanding of FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience selling commercial insurance products.
• Cert CII qualification or currently working towards professional insurance qualifications.
• An established network of clients or introducers.
• Knowledge of property, liability, motor fleet, professional indemnity, cyber or business interruption insurance.
