In this role, you will take ownership of your own projects while working closely with clients and colleagues to support successful project delivery. Projects will vary in scale and complexity, from smaller negotiations to larger infrastructure developments across rural and urban environments.

You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with stakeholders affected by proposed works and obtaining the necessary permissions to allow projects to proceed.

This is a home-based position, with collaboration across a wider regional team.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Proactively manage multiple projects, prioritising workloads and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
  • Lead negotiations for land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and line managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide clear, reasoned advice and recommendations to clients.
  • Facilitate new customer connections, lease renewals and land acquisitions relating to substations and underground cable infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of billing processes, financial responsibilities and accurate time recording.
  • Collaborate across different disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality services.
  • Maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Demonstrate dependability, resilience and a commitment to delivering results.

Skills and Experience

We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in land assembly, property, utilities or infrastructure.

You should be confident managing competing priorities, negotiating with stakeholders and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Professional qualifications such as MRICS and/or FAAV are desirable but not essential.

What's on Offer?

  • The opportunity to work on significant utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package.

About You

You will be committed to delivering a high-quality service, building positive relationships and taking responsibility for your professional development. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrate initiative and look for opportunities to improve the way projects and services are delivered.
