Parking Enforcement Officer

Location: Oxford (covering car parks across the city)

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Parking Enforcement Officer to help maintain parking compliance and deliver excellent customer service across car parks in Oxford.

You will be working on a shift basis 10am - 6pm, with flexiblity for additional cover if needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Issuing parking penalties accurately and in line with enforcement procedures.
• Ensuring motorists comply with parking conditions and payment requirements.
• Providing a high standard of customer service and dealing calmly with difficult situations.
• Using ANPR and enforcement technology, adapting to new systems as required.
• Reporting equipment faults and health and safety issues.
• Assisting with minor maintenance and the opening and closing of car parks.
• Working flexibly across a range of shifts to meet operational needs.

The successful candidate will have:

• A full, valid and clean UK driving licence or European equivalent.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Good judgement and the ability to make and justify decisions.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills and confidence using technology.
• The flexibility to work varied shifts.
• A good level of fitness, as the role involves regular walking.
