Are you an empathetic, assertive, and dedicated support professional driven by the belief that every young person deserves a strong advocate in their educational journey? We are seeking a Pastoral & Group Intervention Lead to join a thriving further education community across the Cheshire region.

In this role, you will be the bridge between academic progression and emotional wellbeing. Working with a person-centred approach, you will lead dynamic group sessions, deliver targeted pastoral interventions, and serve as a crucial point of contact for students navigating barriers to their education.

Benefits:

Full-time, term-time-only schedule (37 hours per week) that keeps your academic holidays completely free.
Secure a stable, full-time placement within a supportive and collaborative student services team.
An outstanding role for experienced pastoral leads, HLTAs, or aspiring educators seeking to build high-level group delivery and safeguarding experience in the FE sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging group sessions focused on personal development, emotional regulation, academic support, and life skills.
Provide ongoing pastoral guidance to students, helping them manage attendance, overcome personal challenges, and develop emotional resilience.
Proactively identify concerns, respond swiftly to welfare issues, and follow strict safeguarding reporting procedures to ensure student safety.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of student contact, intervention outcomes, and welfare logs.

Proven track record delivering support or interventions to groups of young people, with deep experience in pastoral care.
Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check.

Even if you don't meet every single criteria listed, if you are a resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting students and a willingness to learn, we would still love to hear from you.
