History Teacher

Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicatedHistory Teacher to work at a high school in Birmingham City Centre.

We are looking for a qualified teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire students and create a positive learning environment. The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to secondary school students.
• Teach a range of historical topics in line with the school curriculum.
• Encourage students to develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching History at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, flexible and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students.
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.

Location

Birmingham City Centre.
