This is a high-impact role responsible for leading customer acquisition across paid media, SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), AI-powered search and emerging digital channels. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategy while remaining hands-on with performance, testing, optimisation and growth initiatives.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll own the digital acquisition strategy across the business and work closely with Product, Data and Technology teams to maximise performance.
You will lead growth initiatives across paid media, SEO, AEO, AI search, affiliate partnerships and emerging acquisition channels, ensuring every pound invested delivers maximum return.
This is a highly visible role with direct influence over business growth and future acquisition strategy.
What You'll Be Doing

• Own and evolve the digital acquisition strategy across paid, organic and emerging channels
• Drive growth in traffic, leads, conversions and revenue
• Manage and optimise Paid Search, Paid Social and performance marketing campaigns
• Work closely with the SEO & AEO Manager to maximise visibility across traditional and AI-powered search platforms
• Lead experimentation across landing pages, customer journeys and conversion funnels
• Analyse acquisition performance data and identify growth opportunities
• Manage acquisition budgets, forecasting and ROI performance
• Identify, test and scale new digital acquisition opportunities
• Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to track acquisition performance
• Collaborate with Product, Data and Technology teams to improve the customer journey
• Mentor and develop the SEO & AEO Manager
• Explore AI-driven tools, automation and emerging technologies to improve acquisition performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in Digital Acquisition, Growth Marketing or Performance Marketing within a digital, online or high-growth business
• Strong expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social and customer acquisition channels
• Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO and modern search strategies
• Experience managing acquisition budgets and delivering measurable ROI
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-led decisions
• Hands-on approach with a passion for testing, learning and optimisation
• Experience scaling acquisition through multiple channels
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop others
• Experience with AI-powered search, automation tools and emerging acquisition channels would be highly advantageous
