Warehouse Operative

Job Duties

• Receive goods generally pallets using counter balance fork lift
• Reach truck is used for storing finished products into pallet racking
• Book stock into location system and computer software
• Ensure stocks are replenished and keep a good mimimum and maximum of all products
• Rotate stock and keep materials in correct locations
• Stock rotation ensure old stock is used first
• Reort any damages
• Maintain monthly stock reports (training given)
• Manage and keep acurate records of inwards goods
• Recieve goods and check against orders
• Perform stock checks and report on stock levels
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready for upcoming projects
• Unpacking deliveries/checking deliveries
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet demand
• General housekeeping duties in the Warehouse and production area, keep stores clean and tidy at all time.
• The ability to interact well with other employees and visistors

You Must Have

• A positive and approachable attitude
• A willingness to learn and be part of friendly dedicated hard working team
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operating maintance, procedure manuals and saftey rules
• Strong communication skills
• Counter balance and reach truck experience minimum 2 years experience
• Warehouse 5 years
• Competent IT use 5 years
• Working in target driven, busy manufacturing environment 2 years
