Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a new role in precision engineering?
We're recruiting for an established engineering business in Yeovil, offering 29 per hour and the opportunity to join a well-organised workshop with a consistent workload and long-term potential.
This role would suit a CNC Turner confident in setting and operating CNC lathes, working from engineering drawings and producing accurate components to specification.

What you'll be doing

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection checks using measuring equipment.
• Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain component accuracy.
• Ensuring efficient machine operation to meet production requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner.
• Ability to confidently set and operate CNC Mazak lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
• A quality-focused approach and attention to detail.

Experience in precision engineering, working to tight tolerances, and familiarity with Mazak or similar CNC controls would be advantageous.
