Remedy Tutors is seeking a patient, reliable and engaging SEN Tutor to provide tailored Maths and English tuition to a 15-year-old Year 11 student.

The student is currently transitioning to a new placement and requires consistent educational support to maintain engagement with learning and establish a structured daily routine.

The Role

• Deliver 10-20 hours of tuition per week, covering Maths and English.
• Split tuition across 5 days per week, aiming to mirror a typical school day.
• Provide structured, engaging lessons tailored to the student's learning needs.
• Support the student's educational progress, confidence and engagement.
• Provide consistency and routine during the transition to a new placement.

The Ideal Tutor

• Confident teaching Maths and English at an appropriate level.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEN.
• Patient, adaptable and encouraging.
• Able to build positive relationships and motivate learners.
• Reliable and available to start as soon as possible.

About the Student

The student is a 15-year-old in Year 11 who is currently transitioning to a new placement. They requires consistent support with Maths and English to help them remain engaged with education and maintain a structured learning routine.
