Salary: £32,000 per annum, increasing to £34,000 following successful completion of probation

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a growing training provider based in Leeds City Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join a growing organisation in a varied, customer-facing role combining telephone sales, face-to-face consultations and customer engagement.

You will be responsible for speaking with prospective learners, following up enquiries, understanding their needs and recommending suitable training courses. Alongside managing warm leads over the phone, you will also meet learners who visit the office, providing advice and guidance to help them choose the right course and progress through to enrolment.

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in B2B sales, B2C sales, internal sales, telesales or account management who enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities and converting enquiries into sales.

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving course enrolments by converting enquiries into sales, delivering an excellent customer experience and working towards individual sales targets and KPIs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with prospective learners.
• Following up warm enquiries and converting opportunities into enrolments.
• Meeting prospective learners face-to-face at the Leeds office to discuss training options.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable training courses.
• Building rapport and developing strong relationships with prospective learners.
• Confidently discussing course options, benefits and next steps to encourage enrolment.
• Managing the customer journey from initial enquiry through to successful enrolment.
• Proactively following up leads to maximise conversion rates.
• Handling customer queries and providing clear, accurate information.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system.
• Ensuring all enrolment forms and supporting documentation are completed correctly.
• Managing sales administration and following up outstanding information.
• Working towards individual sales targets, KPIs and conversion objectives.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident on the telephone and face-to-face, commercially minded and motivated by achieving sales targets. You will be comfortable speaking with a high volume of prospective customers, building relationships quickly and confidently guiding people towards making a purchasing decision.

You will ideally have experience in one or more of the following:

• B2B Sales
• B2C Sales
• Internal Sales or Telesales
• Lead Generation and Sales Conversion
• Customer Acquisition
• Account Management
• Training Courses or Apprenticeships
• Education or Learning
• Customer Service with a sales focus
• Working with a CRM system

Previous experience within the training, apprenticeship or education sector would be highly advantageous. However, we will also consider candidates from other sales environments who can demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to convert enquiries into sales.

You will need to be comfortable working in a target-driven environment, following up prospective customers and confidently closing sales opportunities. A positive attitude, resilience and a genuine desire to succeed commercially are essential.
